Key Action 1 - School Education

Mobility projects in the field of School Education provide an opportunity for schools and organisations operating in the field of SCH, to receive funding for organising learning mobility activities that contribute to achieving their objectives and their internationalisation.

Programme Utilisation Opportunities

Interested parties can apply for funding as sending organisations in the following two ways:

  • Short-term projects (6 to 18 months): Mainly for new organisations/schools for the implementation of a small number of mobility projects (up to 30 participants).
  • Accredited Projects (15 months): For organisations/schools that have received Erasmus Accreditation.

Additionally, specific organisations can participate in the Programme without applying:

  • As a member of an existing partnership
  • As a host organisation for participants from another country

*Each activity requires the involvement of at least two organisations from two different countries, a sending organisation and a hosting organisation.

Σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις, πρέπει να τεκμηριώνεται επαρκώς η εργασιακή σχέση του συμμετέχοντα με τον οργανισμό αποστολής.

Β. Μαθητές Σχολείων

Μαθητές που φοιτούν σε επίσημο εγγεγραμμένο δημόσιο ή ιδιωτικό σχολείο στην Κύπρο.

Organisation accreditation

Erasmus Accreditation is a quality certification tool for organisations/schools that enables continuous utilisation of the programme by following simplified procedures throughout the programming period. The application for Accreditation is evaluated qualitatively during its submission, and, if the required criteria are met, the organisation may apply for funding every year for the implementation of its pursued objectives. Applicants for Erasmus accreditation must have at least two years of experience in the field.

Types of Accreditations:

*It is not possible to apply for both Accreditation types in the same field.

Eligible outgoing activities

  • Job shadowing (2 to 60 days): for peer exchanging while working.
  • Teaching or Training Assignments (2 to 365 days): teaching or providing training to learners at an organisation abroad
  • Courses and Training (2 to 10 days): to attend structured programmes and courses at an organisation abroad.
  • Group mobility for SCH, learners (2 to 30 days, at least two learners per group): for a learning period at a partner School abroad with their peers under the supervision of accompanying teachers.
  • Short term mobility for SCH, learners (10 to 29 days): for a learning period in a partners SCH provider. The learning period should include the development of an individual learning plan.
  • Long term mobility for SCH, learners (30 to 365 days): for a learning period in a partners SCH organisation. The learning period should include the development of an individual learning plan.

* All eligible activities must take place in eligible Programme countries abroad.

* Activities can be combined with online actions for blended mobility.

Outgoing Mobility

  • Preparatory visits (up to 2 days): to prepare future mobility in the host organisation.

Incoming Mobility

  • Inviting experts (2 to 60 days): to improve teaching and learning in the sending organisation.
  • Hosting students/recent graduates for training purposes (10 to 365 days): for traineeships at the sending organisation.
