Eligible Activities
Professional Development Activities (PDA)
- Professional development activities are transnational or international learning mobility activities that support the professional development of youth workers. Some examples are:
- study visits and different types of work
- networking and community building among youth workers
- training seminars
- seminars and workshops
System development and promotion activities
They are complementary activities aimed at enhancing the impact of the mobility project in the sector and go beyond simple dissemination and communication activities. They are an opportunity for the most experienced and resourceful beneficiaries to try out innovative methods and ways of tackling common challenges, a kind of "European youth work lab" which is an outgrowth of the professional development activities implemented in the projects and which has an impact beyond the projects. Some examples are the production of tools and exchange of practices that contribute to the development and evolution of youth workers, organisations and systems, outreach and community-building activities, as well as the introduction to innovative methods, including the use of digital technologies through youth work.
Preparatory visits
They are complementary activities. Their purpose is to prepare the main activities (administrative arrangements, fostering a climate of trust and understanding, creating a stable partnership between the organisations and individuals involved) in order to ensure the high quality of the activities. In the case of activities involving young people with fewer opportunities, the preparatory visit should ensure that the specific needs of these participants are met.
Eligible Participants
-
There is no age limit for participants in the Professional Development Activities (PDA) and System Development and Outreach Activities.
All participants in activities must reside in the country of the sending or host organisation.
